Typically I would keep something like this to myself, but in the spirit of the season I will share one of the most wonderful Minneapolis shopping secrets: Behold, THE UNDERGROUND TARGET:

Now, I know it may not look like much, but wait a second and hear me OUT. You won’t regret it.
What is the Underground Target?
It is essentially a Target, but with much lower prices and a whole lot less organization. Almost everything is brand new and dirt cheap. I have purchased everything from dishes to dvds to american apparel bikinis to 3M command strips here. They have tons of housewares, furniture, clothes, and everything in between. It’s called “underground” because it used to be located in the building’s basement. But it has since been upgraded to the ground level and is a much nicer shopping experience.
How Do I Find the Underground Target?
This secret gem is located about 6 blocks from the Target Stadium and practically rests under the highway: See Google Map. (900 N 4th St, Minneapolis, MN 55401, Salvation Army)
The parking lot is a highway underpass.
This is pretty much the only place that I can afford to spend money. I promise that with just one short trip, you’ll be able to spend money again too. Take that, RECESSION.

Do tell.
